Your charges will be sent directly to your insurance carrier. However, Medicare and many other insurance companies do not cover the refraction portion of the examination (the measurement used to obtain your prescription) and have a copayment, coinsurance or deductible on covered services. These charges are payable by you at the time of service, although you have the right to have your insurance billed primary if asked. We ask that any out-of-pocket expenses such as eyewear, contact lens, glasses accessories, drops, or any other items offered in the treatment of your care be paid at the time of visit.

 For your convenience we except cash, checks, visa, MasterCard, America express (on items totaling over $500), and HSA/FSA account cards.

All VSP patients need to pay their exam copay and any other out-of-pocket expenses at the time of service, no exceptions.
